"Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hid." (Matthew 5:14)
Our Vision is striving for excellence in Evangelism, Equipping and Establishing through Missions, Outreach, Training, and Worship.
New Testament Wosrship Center
We believe in the depravity of the nature of man through his fall in the Garden of Eden, and the absolute inability of man to save himself from eternal punishment by his own works.
We believe in the finished work of Christ on the Cross of Calvary, through which sacrifice Christ has affected complete and eternal redemption, God setting His seal of approval on the work of Christ by raising Him from the dead, enthroning Him at His own right hand in Heaven and that he is the Head of the Church, the Lord of the individual, the High Priest over the House of God and Advocate in the family of God.
We believe in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues.
We believe in all 9 gifts of the Spirit and all 5 Offices of the Spirit and that they are for all believers and operational in the Church today.
We believe that Jesus endured the horrible stripes on His back for all believers healing and that as the Scriptures teach....Healing is the children's bread.
We believe in the literal return of Christ to this earth for His Church.
We believe in the Bible as the Divinely-inspired Word of God, the revelation of His mind and will to man, our infallible, all sufficient guide for salvation and for the Christian life.
We believe in one God, the Creator of all, eternally existing in three persons; Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
We believe in the Deity of the Lord Jesus Christ, that He is true God and true man begotten of the Holy Spirit born of a virgin, and that He had a perfect and sinless humanity.
I will take the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of the LORD.
[Psalm 116:13]
Do you know Jesus Christ? I'm not talking about knowing about Him, but do you know Him in a personal and intimate way? Does His Holy Spirit live within you and guide you everyday? Better yet, have you accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Savior and Lord? If not, then you can today.

Sheltered In The Storm
In Luke 17:26-30 Jesus likened the “last days” to the days of Noah and of Sodom & Gomorrah … which were days swallowed up and dominated by an abyss of gross darkness, depravity, perversion and promiscuity! These are the kind of days that will either “set you up” or “set you back!” Some of you may be asking, “What do you mean by that statement Pastor Deb?” I believe that the days before us can either “set us up” with an expectation for an extraordinary move of God or they could “set us back” with a paralysis of apprehension and fear that will immobilize our advance!
In Matt. 24 we find Jesus answering some questions posed by His disciples about the destruction of the Temple, His second coming, and the end of the age. In the first part of the discourse He describes days of religious deception, social & political upheavals, natural calamities, disloyalty and persecution. (Vs. 3-11) Then in vs.12 He goes on to make this statement, “And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold.” NKJ Jesus tells His disciples that the trials and persecutions from without, the apostasies and false prophets from within will have a critical affect on the love of many . . . which will grow cold or be cooled down! Could this refer to those who “profess” Christianity but in light of impending death, deception and destruction their zeal will diminish due to unbelief and weak confidence?
And then we come to the next verse, “But he who endures to the end shall be saved.” (Vs. 13) I really like Jack Hayford’s analysis of the Greek word “endure” in this verse and I quote; “to hold one’s ground in conflict, bear up against adversity, hold out under stress, stand firm, persevere under pressure, wait calmly and courageously. It is not passive resignation to fate and mere patience, but the active, energetic resistance to defeat that allows calm and brave endurance.”
How will the days approaching affect us? God’s intent is to provide “shelter in the storm!”
Pastor Deb
I will take the cup of salvation, and call upon the Name of the LORD.
All you have to do is:
RECOGNIZE that God has a wonderful plan for your life.
(1) "I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it
more abundantly" (John 10:10).
(2) For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD,
thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end
(Jeremiah 29:11).
REALIZE that you are separated from God.
(1) "All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to
his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us
all" (Isaiah 53:6)
(2) "There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end
thereof are the ways of death" (Proverbs 14:12).
(3) "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God" (Romans
3:23).
(4) "It is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the
judgment" (Hebrews 9:27)
REPENT of the sins that separates you from a loving God.
(1) "I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall likewise
perish" (Luke 13:3)
(2) "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be
blotted out" (Acts 3:19)
RECEIVE the provision that God has made for you to receive eternal life: Jesus Christ.
(1) "For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the
unjust, that he might bring us to God" (1 Peter 3:18).
(2) "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were
yet sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8).
(3) "If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt
believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead,
thou shalt be saved" (Romans 10:9)
NEXT
If you do not know Jesus Christ as your personal Savior and Lord, then today is the day of salvation. One small prayer can bring you back into right relationship with a loving God. One small step of faith and your life can be restored from eternal destruction through accepting Jesus Christ.
Are you ready to make a great exhange? Your worst for God's best?
Are you ready to say 'no' to the old life and 'yes' to the new life Jesus offers?
Then all you have to do is accept Jesus Christ now. All you have to do is ask Jesus Christ to come into your heart and become your personal Savior and Lord.
Jesus Christ is knocking on the door of your heart: "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me" (Revelation 3:20). Are you going to open the door today?
If you want to say YES to Jesus Christ today, then all you have to do is say this simple prayer:
"Dear Lord Jesus, I come to You today and I realize that I need You in my life. I have this void in my life and this aching in my heart that won't go away. I know that You are the only One who can fill it. I believe that You are the Son of God and that You died on the Cross for my sins. I believe that You shed Your blood for my salvation, that You were placed in the tomb and that You rose again. Dear Jesus, I ask for Your forgiveness for all my sins. Cleanse me and wash me white as snow. I need You Jesus. Come live in my heart. I give You me today. I receive the gift of You today. From this moment on I want to serve You and follow You all the days of my life. Take all of me and use me for Your glory! Help me Lord to live for You for the rest of my days. In Jesus name I pray. Amen."
By praying this prayer, confessing your sins, and asking Jesus Christ to come into your heart, God has forgiven you and you are now His son/daughter. "But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name" (John 1:12).
If you have said this prayer and asked Jesus Christ to come into your heart, we want to rejoice with you! Let us know if you said this prayer by filling out the contact information below.
Facing Your Giants
"Dear children, you belong to God. So you have won the victory over these people, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world." (1 John 4:4 GWT)
The past couple of days, I have geared my devotionals to the story of David and Golaith, so this morning I decided to revisit a past devotional that I wrote and sent out back on May 21, 2010. It goes right along with the David and Goliath theme. A couple days before I wrote this devotional, I was driving to work and I saw two birds flying in front of me and it was quite a hilarious sight. There was a larger bird being chased by a smaller bird. The smaller bird was right on it's back pecking at it as they flew in the air. I chuckled at the sight. But you know, there is something spiritual that we can glean from this natural situation. There are two ways you can view this scenario. First, you can see yourself as the larger bird and the devil as the smaller bird. This means that you are constantly on the run from the devil. Or you can see yourself as the smaller bird and the devil as the larger bird. This means that you know who you are in Christ and you are not intimated by the size of the enemy confronting you.
You and I were not created to run from the giants in our lives. The devil is not the one who is to be seeing our back side. No! You and I were created to face the giants in our lives head on. We should be seeing his back side! David experienced this first hand. He was just a young lad when he confronted the huge giant Goliath. The enemy always comes at us, appearing to larger and more powerful than we are. Yet regardless of how BIG he appears to be or how small we seem in his sight, as the children of God, we've got the power! Ten of the twelve spies that were sent out to spy out the Promise Land dealt with this very same thing. They all went out to spy out the land but when they came back to give their report of the land, ten of them agreed that they were like grasshoppers in the sight of the enemy. Like David, only two of them saw themselves able to conquer the land (giant) and take what was rightfully theirs.
So which bird represents you today? Which bird represents the enemy in your life? Do you see yourself like David, confident in God's ability to bring the victory against the giants in your life? Do you see yourself like Joshua and Caleb, who came back with a positive report of the land, confident that God will deliver? Or do you see yourself like the great men of war who trembled at the sight of Goliath or like the ten spies who crumbled at the sight of the enemy? Today, you don't have to be afraid of the size of the giants in your life you don't have to be afraid of the situations that you are faced with. You've got all the power you need! His name is Jesus! He is the reigning Champion! You are victorious! You are more than a conqueror! Today, don't focus on the size of your giant; instead focus on the size of your God! If He brought you to it, He'll take you through it! You can bank on that, my friend!
